So what is a “lock-down” denture? There are many alternatives to dentures. We find many patients tired and “sick of’ loose, sore, and hard-to-chew with dentures and partials. Imaging “locking these dentures down with “bolts to the bone!” That is what implants can do.
There are several options to dentures and partials. We can stabilize them with a couple of implants (implant retained dentures), lock the dentures to a bar above the gums with implant supported dentures, or you even throw the dentures completely away and bolt a entire set of teeth down with implant supported bridges.
See our website at LiveWithoutDentures.com, and our educational videos at YouTube LiveWithoutDentures.
We have diagrams, photos, complete explanations, and even patient feedback on these life changes in dentistry.
Dr. Gibbs provides sedation dentistry, comfort based dentistry, implant dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry for patients in the Chicago
area. This includes Wheaton, Naperville, Lisle, Glendale Heights, Lombard, Schaumburg, Elmhurst, Chicago, Hoffman Estates, Warrenville, and Downers Grove.
Unlike traditional dentures that move around, shift up and down, and in most cases must be held in place by some kind of sticky, messy, gooey adhesive, a Denture Lock denture is so secure that the patient has total control of their denture when using it to talk, eat, laugh, sneeze, sing and smile. For those patients who are tired of having something covering the roof of their mouths with their denture, just four dental implants will allow the denture to be secure enough to eliminate the need for covering the roof of the mouth.

Dentures implants are expensive and require regular checkups, but are the best option since they look and function like natural teeth and serve a lifetime.

It is really nice post about advertisement of implants. It is effective but costly. Denture is popular somewhat.

Is this really safe and worth it. I have my porcelain jacket now, and I'm already contented with it.

Hi!
I'm planning to have a dental implant in Los Angeles. I was hesitant before because many people said that dental implants are very painful. Well, you must take a risk if you want to get what you want. For sure, dentists will give you pain relievers in order to ease the pain.

Even if you wear full dentures, you still must take good care of your mouth. Brush your gums, tongue and palate every morning with a soft-bristled brush..
