My Photo

I attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, for undergraduate studies and graduated at the University of Illinois School of Dentistry in 1980. I hold memberships in the:
• American Dental Association
• Chicago Dental Society
• Illinois State Dental Society
• Academy of General Dentistry
• American Dental Society of Anesthesiology
• Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation
• American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
• International Congress of Oral Implantologists

I have more than 27 years of experience in cosmetic, sedation, and implant dentistry. I'm one of the earliest members of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (since 1988), and have had training at some of the most prestigious training institutes such as the L.D. Panky Institute for Advanced Education, California Implant Institute, Misch International Implant Institute, and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI).

I've also earned honorary fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). Fellowships are earned only after a doctor demonstrates an exhaustive amount of certified continuing education and training, and has passed written examinations verifying his knowledge.

In 2007 I achieved another honorary designation by receiving his certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). This, along with substantial advanced education and case submission for pier review, has earned me an additional fellowship in the Organization of Conscious Sedation (FDOCS).

I've been recognized for providing dentistry for inner city families, and his work with leadership/vocational training through the Glenbard School District. My wife Cathy and I have been active organizers in the National Children’s Cancer Society helping families cope with the concerns of children with cancer. Recently I've been active with the Give Back a Smile (GBAS) program in conjunction with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. The GBAS program seeks to restore the smile and dental health of victims of domestic violence who would unable to pay for these life-restoring services on their own.
